Dominoes
- Ages 6 and up
- Decoding
Fit each tile to the end of the chain by the sound the word starts with.

See the game in action
A chain of dominoes where each tile has a picture on one side and a word on the other. The child drags the tile that fits by sound to the end of the chain, and the chain grows both ways.
How it is played
Four moments, from the map to the mechanic the child repeats each round.

1A path of levels. Each one opens once the previous is won.

2Before playing, the level shows what it will ask for.

3The first tile sits in the middle and the rest wait below. Tapping a tile plays the word.

4Each correct tile locks onto the end and the chain grows. Three hearts to get it wrong.
Decoding
What the child practises
Reading the word to decide where it fits. A tile only locks on if the sound matches the end of the chain, so the child cannot advance by trial: they have to decode the word before dragging it.
This is not a stand-alone game
Every answer feeds the child’s report, and the report decides the next activity.
