Build the word by choosing the pictures that start with each of its sounds.

See the game in action
A word appears in parts and the child works out which sounds it is made of, choosing the pictures whose names start with each of those sounds, in the order they are heard.
How it is played
Four moments, from the map to the mechanic the child repeats each round.

1A path of levels. Each one opens once the previous is won.

2Before playing, the level shows the word that will have to be built.

3The word in parts on top. The pictures to choose from below.

4Each correct picture takes its place in the word, in the order of the sounds.

What the child practises
Breaking a word into the sounds that make it up and recognising each one at the start of another word. It is the step that joins hearing a whole word to grasping that it is made of parts — the base reading later depends on.
This is not a stand-alone game
Every answer feeds the child’s report, and the report decides the next activity.
