Compared results in two key skills for learning to read:<\/p>

Two groups of children were assessed at two different times:<\/p>

Control Group<\/b> – children who did not take part in the intervention;
\u202fIntervention Group<\/b> – children who benefited from the structured\u00a0 Leiamos methodology.<\/p>

What does the data show?<\/p>

At Moment 1<\/i><\/b>, both groups performed poorly.<\/p>

At Moment 2<\/i><\/b>, the Intervention Group clearly exceeds the Critical Values defined for each competence.<\/p>

The Control Group also progresses, but without reaching the minimum desirable values.<\/p>

The application of the Leiamos methodology had a significant impact on the students’ phonemic awareness. The Control Group also improved, but remained below these thresholds.<\/p>
